Mike has over 25 years of experience working with a varied population of clients, including those struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, and OCD.  In addition, Mike has given workshops and trainings on suicide prevention throughout the state of West Virginia.  Mike primarily uses a cognitive-behavioral approach heavily influenced by its original sources of those found in ancient Stoic philosophy.
