MVA is proud to offer our newest service! The Substance Use Disorder Treatments we are now able to offer is thanks to HRSA’s recent initiatives for Behavioral Health Services Expansion. In conjunction with widening our scope and area served for therapy, counseling, and behavioral health services, we have the opportunity to offer an extensive program to help our community members find local and affordable services to help support and enhance long term recovery. This outpatient program is modeled after evidence-based methods for improved patient outcomes through working as a care team to offer comprehensive services. Patients in the program will develop goals and be offered support through routine medical maintenance, regular interpersonal therapeutic meetings, and connection to resources and skills to help attain those goals and maintain their desired quality of life.
Addiction has plagued our state, families, friends, and all other manner of people for so long. Addiction does not discriminate; all ages, all genders, all races, the wealthy, the poor, parents, children… on and on – all persons are touched by addiction and its path of devastation. Now is the time to prove the resilience and strength at the heart of all West Virginians and recover our loved ones, our lives, and our futures. All are welcome to reach out to see if our program is right for you. As we discuss goals, we’ll assist patients in the pathway to success and long term recovery.
Elements of Substance Use Disorder Treatments:
- Individualized care to the patient’s needs, experiences, and goals
- Offer preventive screenings and maintain health beyond SUD Treatment
- Provide therapeutic benefits through individual therapy, group therapy, and support meetings
- Reduce stigma and highlight the monumental importance of mental health care
- Problem-solve barriers to care and provide community connections for resources
- Educate widely about prevention, intervention, de-stigmatizing addiction and seeking mental health support
New and current patients are always welcome to call to discuss interest in the SUD Program. Upon deciding this is a good fit, we will schedule intake with medical and behavioral health providers. MVA accepts most insurance programs and offers options for payment plans and cost assistance.
